I have never been this disappointed with an online purchase before. bol.com has proven to be the worst website I have ever ordered from, and I strongly advise everyone to never buy any product from this site. I ordered what was supposed to be a brand‑new 65" TCOL TV. Instead, they delivered a used TV—clearly opened, handled, and absolutely not new. When I contacted their customer service to fix this unacceptable mistake, their response was beyond frustrating. Instead of replacing the TV with the new one I actually paid for, they told me that I could only return it, and that replacement was not an option. Even worse, the TV was originally bought during a sale, and now the price is much higher—but bol.com still refused any replacement, price correction, or compensation. Basically, their message was: “Return it if you don’t like it, but we won’t fix our mistake.” This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable. If a company sends a used product instead of a new one, the least they can do is replace it with what the customer paid for. Instead, bol.com leaves customers stuck without any real solution. Terrible service. Terrible policies. Terrible experience. I will never order from bol.com again, and I highly recommend that others avoid this website as well.

Useless customer service that also has no understanding of consumer law. Ordered an item, now a few days after the promised delivery, and the order wasn't even processed, so it never arrived. When I demanded a refund, the guy said the only way was by letter. Unbelievable

It’s a really annoying company for both buyers and seller specially for the seller who comes to this platform with intention of more selling. the take the advantages of this interest by showing them different laws and legitimate regulations that they created by themselves and they never helped the seller according to the expectation level and the standard. Specially the way of communication from the customer service department to the seller was really unprofessional and way of dealing was really rude. This company also has some internal policies that they sign from the seller complying rules from what any customer can take advantages and of the rules and regulations. The funny part is that from both party after anything happens this company take out or cut the commission and lift the case according to the sign agreement there is actually no mutual understanding so I rather say it’s really a risky platform for new sellers. I’d rather advise any entrepreneur who is reading this message to start doing Marketing by their own rather come to this platform because I have spent almost thousands of euros and ended up with a lot of shame so you know what to do.

On 3 September 2025 I ordered and fully paid for an ASUS Vivobook 16 Flip laptop from bol.com (order 3STXKC70012767 / case 215416189). According to PostNL tracking the parcel was “delivered” to my address, but I never received anything. The so-called delivery signature is not mine – clear evidence of a forged signature or a serious delivery failure. I immediately contacted bol.com support, sent screenshots of PostNL’s tracking and the false signature, and even provided witness statements from two colleagues who were present all night (18:00–07:00) and confirm no delivery took place. Despite all this, bol.com closed the case, stating there is “sufficient proof of delivery” and refusing both a refund and a replacement. Their replies were copy-paste templates, slow, and showed no real investigation. Key problems: • Breach of purchase agreement – I paid for goods never delivered. • Possible fraud/forged document – signature clearly not mine. • Customer service failure – deadlines for replies not kept, only formal answers, no action to resolve the issue. This is unacceptable for a company of this size. I have filed a formal complaint with ACM ConsuWijzer (Dutch consumer authority) and I am preparing a police report, because this is effectively non-delivery with document forgery (Dutch Penal Code art. 225). I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before ordering from bol.com. Until bol.com accepts responsibility, refunds the payment, or provides the product, I cannot recommend them. Their handling of this case shows a lack of accountability and serious weaknesses in delivery and verification processes.
