• Business data: Company name, domain, registration number, VAT number, address, phone, and email when registering a shop.
• Review data: Name, email, and review content when submitting a review.
• Technical data: IP address (hashed for fraud detection), browser type, and pages visited.
• Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card details.

• To verify online shops and calculate trust scores.
• To display reviews and shop profiles publicly.
• To send transactional emails (verification results, review invitations, alerts).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To detect and prevent fraud.

4. Legal basis

We process data based on: (a) your consent when submitting reviews, (b) contractual necessity for shop registration, (c) legitimate interest for fraud prevention and platform security.

We share data with:

• Stripe: For payment processing.
• Railway: For hosting (EU data center).
• Resend: For transactional emails.
• Public: Shop profiles, trust scores, and approved reviews are publicly visible.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Reviews are retained indefinitely as part of the public trust record. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The trust badge embedded on shop websites does not set cookies.

9. Data security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using scrypt. We host all data within the European Union (Railway EU region).
